President Donald Trump Issues Stark Warning to Hamas to Release All Prisoners in Gaza
President Donald Trump on Wednesday sent a stern warning to Hamas, demanding the immediate release of all prisoners in Gaza. In his post, Trump cautioned that time was running out for Hamas members, and failure to release the prisoners would result in severe consequences.
Trump’s post began with, "‘Shalom Hamas’ means hello and goodbye – you can choose. Release all the prisoners now, and return the dead bodies in your hands, or everything will be over for you."
He added, “Only people with a warped mindset keep dead bodies, and you are warped!” Trump mentioned that he was "sending everything to Israel so they can finish the job," and "if you don't do what I've said, no Hamas member will be safe."
Trump further stated, "I’ve already met with their former prisoners, whose lives you destroyed," and this is their last warning. "For leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza while there’s still an opportunity."
Additionally, there was a message for the people of Gaza: “A beautiful future awaits, but if you keep prisoners, you will die! Make the smart decision, release the prisoners now, or you will face horrific consequences later!”
Senator John Fetterman, a staunch supporter of Israel, fully backed Trump's post, stating, "Release all the prisoners, or start killing Hamas members again. I agree with @POTUS."
Trump’s post comes shortly after Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked the White House, “Since the United States has had a long-standing policy of not negotiating with terrorists, why is this the first time direct talks are being held with Hamas?”
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt responded, saying, "These talks are being conducted through special intermediaries who have the authority to negotiate with terrorists." She added that Israel had been consulted on the matter, and Trump believes the appropriate actions should be taken in the interest of the American people.
“These discussions are ongoing, and I won’t go into further details as American lives are at risk,” she concluded.
