US Administration Suspends Military Aid to Ukraine, "Our Goal is to Establish Peace" – White House
Washington, March 4: The United States has announced the suspension of military aid to Ukraine. A White House official told CBS News, "The President has clearly stated that establishing peace is his primary goal. Our partners must also be committed to this goal. We are suspending our aid and reviewing it to ensure that our role contributes to a resolution."
According to a Bloomberg report, "Ukrainian leaders have expressed willingness for a peace agreement, and as long as President Trump is not convinced on this, all current US military aid to Ukraine will remain suspended."
As part of this decision, the supply of military equipment to Ukraine has also been suspended, including weapons stored in Poland's depots and those in transit.
The White House official further stated, "We want to work towards establishing peace, and by suspending our aid, we are reviewing how it can contribute to a resolution."
Through this step, the United States will reconsider its military assistance to Ukraine and is prepared to take constructive actions for improving the situation.
