A notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division regarding this appointment.

Previously, Nahid Islam was in charge of this ministry. After his resignation, the ministry was under the Chief Advisor for one day.

After the people's uprising, Mr. Alam served as the coordinator of the Liaison Committee of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, which was formed to maintain communication between students, citizens, and the government.

He took the oath as an advisor on November 10 of last year, but he was not assigned to any ministry at that time.

Twenty days after the formation of the interim government, he was appointed as the special assistant to the Chief Advisor on August 28.
