On Tuesday, the United States House of Representatives passed a proposed budget bill that will implement significant reforms in President Donald Trump's priorities, including border security, defense, energy, and taxes.

This is a major victory for House Republicans, with the bill passing by a vote of 217-215. The proposal includes $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, which will be implemented according to Trump's 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Democrats voted against the proposal, and the only Republican rebel, Representative Thomas Massie, expressed concerns, claiming that the bill could have a negative impact on the national deficit.

The next step is for the relevant House committees to prepare their proposals, which will later be negotiated with the Senate for a compromise deal.

The proposal also includes a provision to increase the debt limit by $4.5 trillion, allowing the US to approve new debt for two years to pay off its obligations.

Additionally, the proposal plans to increase spending by nearly $300 billion for border security, the judiciary, and defense, while proposing cuts of $1.5 to $2 trillion in other areas.

Supporters of the bill believe it is a significant step for the US economy, but concerns about the deep spending cuts associated with it remain.
