London, February 22, 2025: Ahead of the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, hundreds of people in London marched in support of Ukraine. On Saturday, the march began at a statue of St. Volodymyr in West London and headed towards the Russian embassy, where protesters carried Ukrainian flags and supportive placards.

One sign in the march read, "Ukraine defends peace for the entire Europe," while another said, "If Ukraine falls, war will come to your house."

68-year-old British citizen Martin Vincent told France Press, "I'm not Ukrainian, but I understand the danger they are in. It is our duty not to abandon them, and the UK should stand with Ukraine."

Ukrainian student Nataliya, who participated in the march, said, "I feel so patriotic, and at this moment, I feel very vulnerable. I don't know when I’ll be able to return to my country."

Additionally, 27-year-old Stella Robertson said, "This is not just Ukraine, this is Europe’s war." She further added, "We cannot ignore the war just because Trump talks about peace."

British public support for Ukraine is strong, with 67% of people wanting Ukraine to win the war and deeply concerned about it, according to a recent poll.

Meanwhile, thousands of Ukrainian civilians have been killed in the armed conflict, although the exact toll remains unclear.
