French President Emmanuel Macron will host a summit of European leaders on Monday to discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine, confirmed by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.

Barrot stated that the summit should not be "over-dramatized," as such meetings are held regularly.

The summit will include leaders from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Denmark, representing the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, according to Reuters news agency.

Meanwhile, the summit is taking place amid growing tension surrounding peace talks between Russia and the United States, where European countries will engage in significant discussions regarding Ukraine's future and possible agreements.
