Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel and U.S. President Donald Trump have a "common strategy" regarding the future of Gaza. He told reporters, "We discussed Trump's bold vision for Gaza’s future and we will ensure that the plan is implemented."

On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Tel Aviv and will discuss the situation in Gaza with Israeli leaders. He will highlight Trump’s proposal to take control of the Gaza Strip, which has been severely damaged due to the 15-month-long war.

Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his gratitude for President Trump’s full support, saying, "Israel will now decide what to do." Trump posted on Saturday, "The United States will support the decision they make!"

Rubio will also discuss the Gaza hostage exchange deal, which saw Hamas release three Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, marking the third such swap this week.

Additionally, a large shipment of MK-84 bombs, approved by the U.S. government, recently arrived in Israel.

According to Trump’s plan, over two million Palestinians living in Gaza would be relocated to Egypt or Jordan, though both countries strongly oppose the proposal. Secretary of State Rubio stated, "Right now, the only plan is Trump’s. If anyone has a better plan, now is the time to present it."
