Is Hamas Releasing Israeli Hostages by Saturday at Noon or Is Another Crisis Looming in Gaza?
Special envoy Adam Boehler has warned Hamas that if they test U.S. President Donald Trump, it could lead to a major crisis. He stated that if all hostages are not released by noon on Saturday, the situation could worsen.
“We know Hamas is currently holding seven Americans, which is completely unacceptable,” Boehler said on Wednesday during The Story.
Meanwhile, Hamas announced last week that they would suspend the release schedule of the next group of prisoners because Israel had violated the terms of the ceasefire. Trump told Israel, “If all hostages are not released by 12 PM Saturday, the entire situation will change.”
According to Fox News, there are still 76 people being held in Gaza, including at least six Americans.
Boehler further stated, “We will handle this crisis through this threat, and if Hamas wants to test us, it will be a big mistake.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that if Hamas does not release the hostages by the deadline, the ceasefire will end, and Israel will resume fighting.
