Mumbai, February 2, 2025: Abhishek Sharma’s scintillating 37-ball century and Mohammad Shami’s brilliant bowling helped India defeat England by 150 runs and clinch the five-match T20 series 4-1.

In today’s match at Wankhede Stadium, India, batting first against England captain Jos Buttler, posted a massive total of 247/9. Abhishek Sharma’s explosive innings was the cornerstone of India’s formidable total. With 13 sixes and 7 fours, he scored 135, marking his second international century.

England’s target was huge, but they suffered early setbacks. Apart from Phil Salt’s 55, no other batsman could make an impact. Under pressure from the Indian bowlers, they were eventually bowled out for just 97 in 10.3 overs.
