Washington, January 31: American Airlines has announced that flights on the Wichita, Kansas to Washington D.C. route will resume operations starting today.

A spokesperson for the airline stated that flight number AA5677 will operate six days a week.

Meanwhile, Ronald Reagan National Airport, where the American Airlines flight was scheduled to land and where the previous incident occurred, is operating normally. The airport authority said, "All customer services and flight operations are running as usual."

This morning, an American Airlines flight bound for Miami departed ahead of schedule. The airport authority also confirmed that other scheduled flights are ready for timely operation.

The resumption of normal operations following the incident has brought some relief to passengers. However, experts have called for additional measures to address safety concerns in the future.
