Additionally, on Wednesday, Trump signed the Laken Riley Act, which will grant federal authorities the power to deport immigrants involved in criminal activities more quickly. The law is named after Laken Riley, a nursing student from Georgia who was killed last year by an illegal immigrant.

Meanwhile, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been nominated as Trump's Secretary of Health, faced questioning at a Senate hearing on Wednesday. He dismissed accusations of being "anti-vaccine," stating, "I am for safety, and vaccines play a crucial role in healthcare."

The hearing also included two other important nominations. On one hand, Tulsi Gabbard, nominated as Director of National Intelligence, and on the other, Kashyap Patel, nominated as FBI Director, are set to have their hearings.
