Gaza, January 29: According to Gaza's official media office, more than 500,000 displaced Palestinians have returned to northern Gaza in the past 72 hours. This return has taken place along the Al-Rashid and Salah al-Din roads.

The Gaza government media office stated, "This marks the first return after 470 days of forced displacement, following the start of the Israeli occupation forces' genocide."

However, some of those returning have been forced to go back to central Gaza due to a lack of water, food, shelter, and healthcare in northern Gaza, as essential services are unavailable in the area.
