Two weeks ago, a destructive wildfire caused widespread damage in the area.

Before his oath-taking, Mr. Trump mentioned in a rally that he would be visiting California on Friday.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, in a statement, said that he looks forward to President Trump's visit, which will play a role in helping citizens recover from the damage and in the rebuilding process.
