North Korean Suicide Troops in Kursk Pose New Threat, New Challenge for Ukraine
January 14 - The ongoing war in Russia's western Kursk region has seen the presence of North Korean suicide soldiers, presenting a new challenge for Ukraine and its allies. According to claims by Ukrainian special forces, 11,000 North Korean soldiers are fighting in Kursk this week.

During a post-battle examination of the slain North Korean soldiers, Ukrainian special forces found one soldier still alive. As they approached, the soldier detonated a grenade, committing suicide. This information was reported in a description of the conflict posted on social media by Ukraine's Special Operations Forces on Monday. The forces reported that none of their members were injured in the blast. Reuters could not verify the incident's authenticity.

A former North Korean soldier revealed that these troops are brainwashed and mentally prepared for self-sacrifice. They are driven by the belief that sacrificing themselves on the battlefield is their ultimate goal. This situation has created new concerns for Ukraine and its allies in their ongoing war with Russia.
