Anti-Regime Iranian Protesters Rally Outside U.S. Embassies Worldwide: Report
Anti-regime Iranian protesters staged rallies outside U.S. embassies across the globe over the weekend, strongly condemning both the Tehran regime and the U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
According to The Jerusalem Post, the demonstrations followed a call from Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi for a week of global protests during the funeral of the former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Video footage released by Pahlavi’s office showed protesters in London denouncing the MOU while waving pre-Islamic Revolution “Lion and Sun” flags alongside U.S. and Israeli flags. Similar flags were also spotted at protests in Rome, the outlet reported.
In Berlin, activists mocked U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei by staging a mock treaty-signing ceremony, The Jerusalem Post noted.
Meanwhile, in Frankfurt, demonstrators displayed a banner featuring the faces of dozens of Iranians identified as anti-regime protesters killed by authorities.
In Madrid, activists set up a demonstration themed “No to negotiation,” featuring red-painted hands to symbolize the blood of the slain protesters.
