In response to Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on a U.S. base, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a series of satirical yet firm posts on his Truth Social account.
Trump wrote:
“Iran fired 14 missiles. 13 were destroyed, and the other veered off target. Congratulations, World!”
He shared a message of peace to the global community:
“Congratulations, World. Now is the time for peace.”
Trump described Iran’s attack as “very weak” and “unprofessional.”
“They even gave us advance notice of the strike — for that, I thank them,” he added.
“Iran’s response to the destruction of their nuclear facilities was weak, and we countered it successfully, as expected.”
Praise for Qatar’s Role in Peace
Trump commended the Emir of Qatar, saying:
“The Emir of Qatar played a significant role in maintaining peace in the region. I thank him for that.”
He stated that no American lives were lost, no significant infrastructure was damaged, and no one in Qatar was harmed either.
A Call to End Hatred
“Most importantly, they’ve vented everything from their system — now I hope there will be no more hatred.”
A Message to Iran and Israel
“Perhaps Iran can now move toward peace and harmony in the region, and I strongly encourage Israel to do the same,” President Trump concluded.
