[Tehran, June 16, 2025] — The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel is becoming increasingly deadly, with rising casualties on both sides. According to Iran’s Health Ministry, at least 224 people have been killed and more than 500 injured in Iran since the mutual strikes began on Friday.
Israeli authorities reported that eight people were killed on Monday night following Iranian attacks on residential areas in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and several other cities.
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office and state media have confirmed that the total death toll in Israel since Friday has now reached 24.
Health officials said that around 300 people have been hospitalized.
Key Infrastructure Targeted
In Iran, the Ministry of Justice building sustained severe damage from Israeli airstrikes. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that an attack on Iran’s Isfahan nuclear facility, located in the southern region of the country, has significantly hindered Iran’s nuclear development efforts.
Escalating Threats and Warnings
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a stern warning:
“If the attacks do not stop, Israel will face even harsher retaliation.”
Conversely, Netanyahu stated:
“Iran will pay a heavy price for targeting and killing Israeli civilians.”
In a related development, Iran announced the arrest of two individuals suspected of being connected to Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency.
