Billionaire Elon Musk to Attend President Donald Trump's Cabinet Meeting for the First Time
Washington, February 26 – Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, who has been serving as an advisor to President Donald Trump on extensive reforms to the U.S. government, will attend an important committee meeting for the first time. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, where he will face discussions on ongoing instability within the government and his plans regarding staff layoffs.
Elon Musk has earned a reputation for creating job crises for government workers. Recently, in an email directive, he instructed government employees to provide detailed reports of their achievements every week. He stated that if employees do not respond to his request within 48 hours, they risk losing their jobs.
This directive led to division among various government agencies. Some agencies instructed employees to follow Musk's directive, while others ignored it. Following this, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management announced that employees are not required to respond to Musk's emails. However, President Trump and his associates believe that if employees comply with Musk's directives, they may be able to keep their jobs.
Despite the instability caused by Musk's directive, some Cabinet members, such as Kelly Loeffler, head of the Small Business Administration, have supported Musk's demands. She stated, "We just want to know if they are doing their job. And the standard is very low, it’s ridiculous."
The situation within the Trump administration remains marked by instability and confusion, and Musk’s presence has introduced new uncertainty for government workers.
