Amman, January 13: Jordan's King Abdullah II has reiterated the importance of halting Israeli aggression on Gaza and establishing overall peace in the region. In a meeting with Jordanian Senate members in Amman on Tuesday, the King stated, "It is extremely urgent to stop the Israeli war and establish stability in the region."

King Abdullah also mentioned that Jordan "is working in coordination with Arab countries and allies to protect its interests and engage in efforts to achieve regional stability."

The King highlighted Jordan's efforts to maintain the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza and called on the international community to increase humanitarian assistance.

Regarding the situation in the West Bank, King Abdullah said, "Unilateral measures targeting Palestinians and Al-Quds should be stopped."

Additionally, Jordan has sought international cooperation to address the situation in Gaza through humanitarian aid in refugee camps.
