Three Major Fire Zones The most intense fires are Palisades Fire to the west of Los Angeles, Eaton Fire north of Pasadena, and the Hurst Fire in the San Fernando Valley. The Palisades Fire has scorched an area of about 4.5 square miles (11.6 square kilometers), the Eaton Fire is burning 1.6 square miles (4 square kilometers), and the Hurst Fire has destroyed 500 acres (202 hectares) of land.

Evacuations Over 80,000 residents have been forced to leave their homes for safety, including those from Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and Altadena areas. An additional 30,000 people are at increased risk, and more than 13,000 structures are at risk of being damaged.

Power Outages Due to the wildfire, over 300,000 electricity customers are without power. Another 400,000 customers may face power disruptions, depending on the weather.
