India has announced that it will not tour Pakistan due to security concerns, and the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, originally scheduled to be held in Pakistan, will feature India's matches at a neutral venue, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC). This decision was made after India refused to play in Pakistan due to security and political tensions.

As per this decision, matches between India and Pakistan in ICC events from 2024 to 2027 will be played at neutral venues. An ICC statement mentioned, "Matches between India and Pakistan in ICC events during the 2024-2027 rights cycle will be played at neutral venues. This will also apply to the 2025 ICC Men's Champions Trophy."

The Indian cricket team has not toured Pakistan since 2008, and matches between the two countries have only occurred in multi-nation events. However, the Pakistan team recently played in India during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Additionally, Pakistan will also need to play its matches at a neutral venue for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup in India and the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

The 2025 Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9. The ICC has stated, "The schedule for the 2025 Men's Champions Trophy will be announced soon."

It is noteworthy that Pakistan last hosted the World Cup in 1996, and despite hosting the 2023 Asia Cup, India played its matches in Sri Lanka under the "Hybrid Model."

In the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy, Pakistan defeated India by 180 runs in London. After a long gap, this tournament will be held in Pakistan again.
