Houthi Attacks on Israel Will Continue Until Israeli Attacks on Gaza Stop - Albukhaiti

Sana, Yemen: Houthi-backed journalist and political analyst Hussein al-Bukhaiti has declared that the Houthi rebel group will continue its attacks on Israel until Israel stops its aggression and blockade on Gaza. He told Al Jazeera, "Yemeni attacks and the blockade in the Red Sea have resulted in the closure of the Israeli port of Eilat, and Israel has faced increased costs, as ships linked to Israel now have to go around Africa."

Al-Bukhaiti further stated, "The Yemenis have made it clear that they will not stop these attacks until the Israeli regime stops its attacks on Gaza, lifts the blockade, and withdraws its forces from Gaza."

He also claimed that the attacks from Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom would not be able to stop the Houthi attacks.

These comments came after the Israeli military launched airstrikes on Houthi military targets in Sana'a and Hodeidah, causing major fires. Hours before these strikes, a missile was launched from Yemen toward central Israel. The missile was intercepted in the air, but its debris hit a building in Tel Aviv.

This was the second time this week that the Israeli military intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, as the Houthis have been carrying out these attacks since last year in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
