Real Madrid’s Trophy Celebration: 3-0 Victory Over Pachuca to Win the Intercontinental Cup

Real Madrid won the Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday, defeating Mexico’s Pachuca 3-0 in the final at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Goals were scored by Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Jr.

The match was a display of Real Madrid's dominant performance. Although Pachuca created a few threats with counter-attacks, Real never lost control of the match. Despite creating several chances in the first half, Real Madrid took the lead in the 37th minute. Jude Bellingham passed to Vinicius Jr., who ran past the goalkeeper and set up Mbappe for an easy tap-in to give Real a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Rodrygo extended Real’s lead in the 53rd minute, beating two defenders before curling a beautiful shot into the top corner with his right foot. In the 83rd minute, Real Madrid was awarded a penalty when Pachuca captain Lucas Vazquez was fouled inside the box. Vinicius Jr. converted the penalty, making it 3-0 and sealing the win for his team.

This victory marks another glorious moment for Real Madrid, as they have previously won three Intercontinental Cups and five Club World Cup titles. With this win, Real Madrid now has a total of nine global titles.
