Elon Musk's wealth has surged past $400 billion, which is equivalent to approximately 48 trillion Bangladeshi Taka (assuming an exchange rate of 1 USD = 120 Taka).

With this immense fortune, Musk has surpassed the annual GDP of nearly 150 countries (individually).

This information was reported in a Bloomberg Billionaires Index article published on Wednesday, December 11.

According to the report, Musk's wealth has dramatically increased, especially since November when Donald Trump was elected U.S. President. Since then, his wealth has continued to grow.

One of the key reasons for Musk's tremendous increase in wealth is his companies, SpaceX and Tesla. Bloomberg data shows that Musk's fortune saw significant growth through the internal share sales of SpaceX, which added nearly $50 billion to his total wealth. Currently, SpaceX is valued at approximately $300 billion, marking a new milestone in space research.

Additionally, Tesla, known for manufacturing electric vehicles, has seen a 71% increase in its stock price. In December 2024, Tesla's stock reached an all-time high of $424.77, further boosting Musk's wealth to $447 billion.

Following Musk, Jeff Bezos holds the second spot among the world's wealthiest individuals with a fortune of $249 billion, while Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, ranks third with a net worth of $224 billion.

Interestingly, Musk's wealth surpasses the annual GDP of many countries. For example, Pakistan's GDP stands at $326.8 billion. In fact, Musk's single-day wealth increase of $62.8 billion exceeds the GDP of many nations.

Musk's success is not merely a result of technological innovation or business success; it represents a new economic paradigm where one individual can amass wealth far exceeding that of some of the largest and wealthiest countries.
