"Palestine and Lebanon’s Resistance Against Israeli Occupation Will Continue" - Iranian Ambassador Musa Farhang

Muscat: Iranian Ambassador to Oman, Musa Farhang, declared that resistance against Israel's occupation in Palestine and Lebanon is a natural response. He made the statement during a lecture at Oman’s National Defence College on Thursday.

The event focused on Iran-Oman bilateral relations, regional crises, and ongoing developments in the Middle East. Addressing the situations in Palestine and Lebanon, Ambassador Farhang emphasized, “The resistance against the Zionist Israeli occupation is a normal and justified response.”

He stressed that recent events demonstrate that lasting peace and security in the Middle East can only be achieved through an end to occupation. He also highlighted the importance of unity and solidarity among regional countries.

Commenting on the challenges facing the Middle East, Ambassador Farhang praised the strong ties between Iran and Oman as a model for neighboring and friendly relations. “The relationship between Tehran and Muscat is built on mutual trust and friendship, serving as an example for the region,” he said.

The ambassador’s remarks underline Iran’s stance on supporting regional solidarity and resistance movements in the face of occupation while advocating for peaceful coexistence and cooperation among Middle Eastern nations.
