In his nightly address, Zelensky condemned Russia’s missile tests, particularly their alleged use for terrorist purposes in other countries, calling them “international crimes.” He urged the global community to respond decisively to prevent further escalation of Russian aggression.

“Our Defense Minister is already in discussions with our partners about advanced air defense systems capable of safeguarding lives against these emerging threats,” Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that using other countries as grounds for missile testing is a clear violation of international law. “When a state conducts such actions not just for terror but to experiment with new missiles, it’s unequivocally an international crime,” he remarked.

Calling for a strong global response, Zelensky warned, “If Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to expand the war, he must face the tangible consequences of his actions.”

The Ukrainian leader also urged his citizens to remain vigilant in the face of ongoing Russian attacks. “There is no alternative in this war. We must recognize that ‘Comrade’ Putin will continue his attempts to intimidate us—that’s how he consolidates his power,” he said.

Zelensky’s remarks highlight Ukraine’s focus on strengthening its defense capabilities and his call for the international community to impose stricter measures against Russia’s escalating aggression.
