Highlighting the growing number of politically motivated cases, he remarked, "Mass filing of cases has increased significantly compared to the past. Previously, we saw mass arrests; now, it's mass lawsuits. Inevitably, mass arrests will follow. I was once a victim of such practices myself, but the current scale is unprecedented."

He criticized the repetitive nature of the cases, saying, "The same script is used repeatedly—claims of eye injuries, leg injuries, or a single bullet causing harm—but cases are being filed against hundreds of individuals for each incident."

On the topic of elections, Panna commented on recent remarks by Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who suggested he would step down if political parties refused to pursue reforms. Reflecting on Yunus's statement, Panna noted, "Whether he expressed it in frustration or regret, it is true. The interim government's sole responsibility is to conduct a free and fair election and to hand over power to an elected government through democratic means. Structural reforms are not their mandate, but ensuring credible elections is their obligation."

Panna's remarks come amidst growing political tension and debates over the interim government's role in ensuring a transparent electoral process. His comments underline the urgency of upholding justice and democratic values in Bangladesh's current political landscape.
