Putin Claims Russia Has Received Trump’s Updated 28-Point Peace Proposal — Says U.S. Is Not Discussing It in Detail
Moscow | International Desk: Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that after the recent talks in Alaska, there has been a “pause” from the American side. According to him, this pause is linked to Ukraine’s rejection of former President Donald Trump’s earlier peace proposal.
In a statement released by the Russian Embassy in the USA, Putin said:
“We can see a certain pause from the American side following the talks in Alaska, and we understand this is connected with Ukraine’s de facto rejection of President Trump’s peace plan.”
He added that because of this:
“A new version has emerged—essentially an updated plan consisting of 28 points.”
▶ Russia Has Received the Updated 28-Point Plan
Putin confirmed that the text of this updated peace plan was sent to Russia through established communication channels with the U.S. administration.
He said,
“I believe this could also serve as a basis for a final peace settlement.”
▶ But Washington Is Not Discussing It in Detail
Putin emphasized that despite receiving the document,
“It is not being discussed in detail with us.”
