Two Pakistani nationals residing in Texas — Abdul Hadi Murshid (39) and Muhammad Salman Nasir (35) — have been arrested by the FBI on charges related to a fraudulent scheme involving fake job offers and visa fraud. This information was disclosed by FBI Director Kash Patel.

According to the investigation, they were working with a law firm in Texas and a company named Reliable Ventures Inc. They now face charges including visa fraud, conspiracy, money laundering, and racketeering (running an organized crime ring).

In addition, Abdul Hadi Murshid is also accused of attempting to unlawfully obtain U.S. citizenship.

Kash Patel wrote on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter):
“Major success by @FBIDallas. Abdul Hadi Murshid and Muhammad Salman Nasir — two individuals in Texas — were running a criminal operation selling fake visa applications and bypassing U.S. immigration laws.”

Analysts believe that these arrests represent a significant step by the FBI toward cleansing corruption from the U.S. immigration system.
