According to a report from the state news agency, at least 40 people have been killed in a powerful explosion at Shahid Rajaei port in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan province, Iran. The explosion occurred on Saturday, April 26, at this important port located on the Persian Gulf coast.
Hormozgan Governor Mohammad Ashouri Tajiani told the country’s Mehr News Agency, “At this moment, 40 people have died from the explosion-related injuries.” At least 1,400 people have been injured in the blast.
