U.S. President Donald Trump is set to celebrate the success of his first 100 days in office during his second term with a rally in Michigan. He has also announced an ambitious action plan for the next 100 days, which includes trade deals, peace negotiations, and more executive orders.

A senior White House official revealed that the Trump administration is planning to impose travel bans on citizens from several countries and hinted at further "underwater torpedoes" — the details of which have not yet been disclosed.

Administrative Changes and Controversial Decisions

In his first 100 days, Trump has implemented sweeping changes to U.S. policy, including:

  • Deportation of undocumented immigrants

  • Restriction of transgender rights

  • Cutting funding to universities that the administration claims tolerate antisemitic behavior

  • Elimination of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) programs

  • Reduction in employment across both public and private sectors

Elon Musk, leading the new “Government Efficiency Department,” is working to reduce unnecessary spending and bureaucracy within the administration.

Trump’s Foreign Policy and Peace Initiatives

In the next 100 days, Trump plans to pursue new trade deals. However, analysts argue that achieving successful agreements within 90 days is unrealistic. So far, no major trade deal has been finalized, with negotiations — particularly with China — repeatedly sparking controversy.

Trump is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates next month and will continue efforts to mediate peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Although he had earlier claimed he would “end the war on day one,” peace still remains elusive.

Criticism and Opposition

While supporters describe Trump’s initiatives as “a conservative dream come true,” critics argue that he is:

  • Violating civil rights

  • Straining relationships with allied nations

  • Undermining U.S. leadership on the global stage

Courts vs. the President

Several executive orders have been halted by courts, prompting the Trump administration to criticize the judiciary for “blocking the will of an elected president.”
