“We May Reach a Solution to the Ukraine Conflict Very Soon” – President Donald Trump

According to a report by the state news agency TASS, U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed optimism that progress is being made toward a resolution of the Ukraine conflict and that a solution may be possible very soon.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, he said:
“We’ll see if it can be done. I think we have a good chance of getting it done. It has now reached a critical stage.”

When asked by a journalist whether Russia is trying to deceive the United States, Trump responded:
“No, no one is deceiving anyone. No one is playing me. I’m just trying to help.”

“Both Sides Are Interested” – Trump

Trump said he has extensive negotiation experience and can tell when someone is trying to mislead.
“I can tell when someone is playing us and when they’re not. I see a genuine desire from both sides to end the war. And I believe we’ll soon see the outcome.”

Russia’s Position

Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS that Russia wants a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict—but one that guarantees its national interests.

According to analysts, Trump’s latest remarks could signal a major shift in the diplomatic trajectory of the Ukraine war in the coming days.
