In Gaza, continued Israeli barbaric attacks have resulted in at least 80 Palestinians killed and 305 injured in the last 48 hours, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. Among the attacks, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has recovered the bodies of 15 emergency workers killed in an Israeli attack near the city of Rafah. Their vehicle had been targeted by Israeli forces a week ago.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hamas must "surrender their weapons," and its leaders and commanders must be exiled, while security in Gaza must be handed over to Israel in order to reach the "final stage" of a ceasefire.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that as a result of Israel's war, 50,357 Palestinians have been killed and 114,400 injured so far. The official media office of Gaza's government updated the death toll two months ago to over 61,700, with thousands more Palestinians presumed dead under the rubble, who are still missing.

On October 7, 2023, in an attack by Hamas, at least 1,139 people were killed in Israel, and over 200 people were abducted.
