President Donald Trump made several significant statements during his first cabinet meeting of his second term. In this meeting, Trump was accompanied by Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnick and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, but the most discussed guest was billionaire Elon Musk. Musk is the head of the 'Department of Government Efficiency' (DOGE), which is primarily working on modernizing government technology.

Standing at the cabinet meeting, Musk said, "I’m just doing tech support," briefly explaining DOGE’s role. He mentioned that this team helps maintain government technology systems and is working on significant staff layoffs and budget cuts to reduce government expenses.

Musk also made some controversial remarks. He said that DOGE "works as a tech support team," but noted that emails were being sent to review staff performance, and officials were threatened with termination, which sparked intense debate within the government. Musk stated, "For those whose methods were wrong, we are trying to fix them quickly."

President Trump discussed the situation regarding the war in Ukraine. He stated, "Russia will agree to peace talks, but they must meet certain conditions." Trump further mentioned, "In the terms of the war, there will be a deal with Ukraine regarding mineral resources, which will be profitable for our economy."

However, Trump caused confusion regarding the 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico, where he referred to imposing the tariff on April 2 instead of March 4, as previously stated.

Meanwhile, Trump continued to push his "Gold Card" proposal, which is a plan to offer foreign nationals the opportunity to live and gain citizenship in the U.S. at a high price. According to him, this system would create jobs in the country and help reduce national debt.

Additionally, Trump once again commented that Canada could become the 51st state of the U.S., which could be a big opportunity for them.

So far, Trump has been trying to establish world peace during his second term, but his perspective on the situation in Ukraine and his plan to increase pressure on Russia has raised concerns among many.
