"We Must Build Our Society with Humanity, Compassion, and Generosity" – Princess Kate of Britain

Princess Kate of Britain, the Princess of Wales, has stated that in order to build a healthy and happy society, people must treat one another with more compassion and generosity. This is her first major public message since returning to official duties after completing her cancer treatment.

While writing the foreword for a report by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, Kate said, "To find lasting solutions to issues such as mental health deterioration, addiction, and abuse, we need to focus on 'restoration, recovery, and balance'."

Under the leadership of Kate and Prince William, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, established in 2021, has released a new 'Shaping Us Framework,' aimed at raising awareness about the importance of social and emotional skills, and presenting a model for a "strong but resilient" life for a healthy and happy life.

"It’s time for us to deeply review our own behavior, emotions, and feelings," Kate wrote. "This means treating each other with empathy and generosity so that we can build stronger relationships with one another, and those relationships become meaningful in our lives."

Princess Kate further added, "The sooner we prioritize our social and emotional skills, the sooner we can build a happy and prosperous society."

This statement is her first major message since returning to official duties, during which she participated in two public events over the past week.
