Kansas City, Missouri: Taylor Swift's "championship era" has reached yet another milestone in its second consecutive season.
On Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift watched her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, and his team secure a thrilling 32-29 victory against the Buffalo Bills. This win secured the Chiefs a spot in their third consecutive Super Bowl.
As confetti rained down on the field after the game, Kelce and Swift shared a celebratory kiss. Swift embraced Chiefs coach Andy Reid and joined Kelce's mother, Donna, along with 80,000 ecstatic fans in sharing the joy of the team’s success.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be here playing with this team in Kansas City,” Kelce said. “It’s a special place. We feel it every single day and try to make the most of every opportunity.”
Swift and Kelce’s romance began last season when she accepted his invitation to watch a Chiefs game. Their bond deepened during the playoffs, with Swift celebrating the Chiefs' AFC Championship win last year on the field.
Swift also became a focal point at last season's Super Bowl. After completing her concert in Tokyo, she made it to Las Vegas in time to watch the big game, where the Chiefs lifted the Lombardi Trophy. Swift celebrated alongside her celebrity friends and joined Kelce on the field in a memorable post-game moment.
For this year's AFC Championship game, Swift donned a sleek black-and-gold Louis Vuitton outfit, which included a jacquard knit jacket and a designer stocking cap.
On February 9, in New Orleans, the Chiefs will aim for their third Lombardi Trophy in a face-off against the Philadelphia Eagles. Swift is expected to be in attendance once again, making her a centerpiece of the celebration as fans eagerly anticipate both the game and her iconic post-game moments.
