World leaders such as Donald Trump, China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Argentina's President Javier Milei will deliver speeches and participate in various discussions.
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission: In an open speech, Ursula von der Leyen said, "The world remains largely connected, but it is starting to divide in new ways." She called for both government and private sector leaders to work together, emphasizing that "breaking the bonds of the world economy is not in anyone's interest."
Ding Xuexiang, Vice Premier of China: In his speech, Ding Xuexiang urged governments to make stronger commitments to global multilateralism and move away from defense policies. He said, "There are no winners in a trade war. Multilateralism is the right path for humanity and the peace of the world."
Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated, "The world is going through increasing complexity and uncertainty, where reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness are becoming harder to maintain for the future."
Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa: South African President Cyril Ramaphosa highlighted new opportunities for Africa and referred to the inclusion of the African Union in the G20 as a significant step for global cooperation. He said, "Cooperation is a fundamental pillar of human civilization."
Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Europe to support Ukraine in its ongoing war against Russia and help strengthen defense alliances. He stated, "To ensure Europe's security, we cannot rely on only a few countries."
