U.S. President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of 51 former national security officials, including former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

In 2020, these 51 officials issued a public letter stating that Hunter Biden’s laptop bore "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation," even though they found no "evidence of Russian involvement." They described the laptop as part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

The letter followed a report by the New York Post, which revealed emails showing Hunter Biden coordinated for Joe Biden to meet with a top executive at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. It was also mentioned that Joe Biden later pressured Ukrainian officials to dismiss a prosecutor investigating Burisma.

Other notable figures whose security clearances were revoked include former CIA Directors Michael Hayden and John Brennan, former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Fox News Digital reported that federal investigators from the Department of Justice confirmed that Hunter Biden’s laptop contained reliable and unaltered evidence.

On his inauguration day, President Trump signed more than 200 executive orders. These included withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, originally signed during former President Barack Obama’s administration. Other orders involved rescinding nearly 80 executive orders and memoranda from the Biden administration, imposing a regulatory and hiring freeze on the federal government, preventing "government censorship" of free speech, and directing all departments and agencies to address the cost-of-living crisis.
