Washington - On Monday, January 20, Donald J. Trump will take the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States for his second term. JD Vance will take the oath of office as Vice President.

This will be Trump's second term inauguration. Previously, he took the oath as the 45th President on January 20, 2017.

On Sunday, Trump laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and then held a "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" in Washington. The inauguration ceremony on Monday has been moved to the Capitol Rotunda due to freezing temperatures.

During the wreath-laying ceremony, Trump appeared solemn as he placed a wreath at the tomb. Shortly afterward, Vice President-elect JD Vance did the same.

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery.
