A large crowd gathered at as-Saraya Square in Gaza City moments before the release of prisoners. As part of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, prisoners are set to be released.

Members of Hamas's military wing, the Qassam Brigades, were present at the square. People gathered around a Red Cross vehicle involved in the prisoner release process.
