Washington, January 19, 2025 – The inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States is set to take place today. This inauguration is slightly different from traditional ones, as it has been moved indoors due to cold weather.

Despite these challenges, the event will feature several popular artists, influential billionaires, and foreign heads of state. Compared to his first inauguration, this event will see a larger presence of global business and political leaders, many of whom had distanced themselves from Trump during his first term.

Trump's Family and Guests at the Capitol Rotunda

On this occasion, Trump’s family members, including his five children and grandchildren, will be in attendance. Don Jr., his eldest son, and Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, have gained more influence over the past year. Although Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have stepped back, they are expected to attend, just as they did on election night.

Top CEOs and Celebrities at the Event

The event will also feature the presence of top CEOs from major tech companies, such as Tesla and X owner Elon Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Additionally, Grammy Award-winning singer Carrie Underwood will perform at the event.

As in 2017, Trump will highlight his campaign promises in his inaugural speech, emphasizing the "America First" policy. The theme of this year’s address will be “unity, strength, and fairness.”

This inauguration is set to mark a new political perspective and international alignment, which could signify the beginning of a new phase in U.S. politics and its relations with the rest of the world.
