Dubai, January 14: Qatar's Foreign Ministry has stated that ongoing ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel, mediated by Qatar and other countries like the United States and Egypt, have reached the final stage. Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, said at a press conference on Tuesday, "This is the closest point to a deal over the past few months."

He further mentioned that Qatar has sent drafts of a possible ceasefire agreement to both Hamas and Israel. However, Al-Ansari cautioned, saying, "We believe we are in an advanced stage and at the final stage, but until there is an official announcement, we should not get overly excited." He added, "We are hopeful, but there has been no official announcement yet."

Meanwhile, Hamas also stated that the Gaza ceasefire talks have reached their final stage, expressing hope that this round of negotiations will conclude clearly.
