Gaza City June 28 2024, In a tragic development, Gaza’s civil defense agency reported the death of three medics and the wounding of 12 others due to Israeli airstrikes. The medics were engaged in rescue operations at the Bure refugee camp when the incident occurred.
The situation in Gaza City remains dire, with residents described as “running through the streets in terror.” The eastern Shujaat neighborhood has been heavily bombarded, leaving numerous casualties scattered in the streets.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stark warning to Iran, accusing it of “fighting us from seven fronts” through various regional armed groups. Netanyahu declared, “Whoever does such a thing to us simply won’t be here.”
In a bid to address the humanitarian crisis, UNICEF announced that Israel has agreed to restore power to a crucial desalination plant in southern Khan Younis. This facility is expected to provide potable water to nearly one million people in urgent need.
