Trump Media Plans to Charge Up to $100,000 Per Month for Fastest Access to Trump’s Truth Social Posts

Trump Media & Technology Group has introduced Truth API, a licensed data service designed to provide banks, hedge funds, and high-frequency trading firms with the fastest possible access to posts from the ten most influential Truth Social accounts.

According to sources familiar with the discussions, TMTG has proposed a subscription fee of up to $100,000 per month, with a discounted $60,000 monthly plan available for customers willing to commit to a three-year contract.

The company says the service will launch on August 1 and will provide real-time monitoring along with archived posts dating back to 2022. TMTG also stated that it has already secured customers but declined to identify them.

Financial markets have repeatedly reacted to Trump’s social media announcements. For example, on April 9, 2025, U.S. stock indexes surged after Trump announced a 90-day pause on many tariffs via Truth Social.

Critics argue that selling faster access to presidential posts raises serious ethical concerns and could create conflicts of interest. Democratic Senator Ron Wyden said the arrangement would financially benefit the Trump family while giving Wall Street traders an advantage.

Donald Sherman, president of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), described the proposal as “wildly unethical,” although he noted that existing laws may not clearly prohibit such an arrangement.
