Iran’s Chief Justice Calls for Swift Prosecution of Those Linked to Israeli Regime
[Tehran, July 18, 2025] — Iran’s Chief Justice Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has emphasized the urgent need for rapid and accurate prosecution of all individuals connected to the Israeli regime. He issued a strict directive to the judiciary, urging them not to tolerate any delay or negligence in handling these cases.
“The investigation and resolution of cases involving suspects associated with the Zionist regime must be completed swiftly. Any delay or oversight in this regard is unacceptable,” Mohseni-Ejei stated.
His remarks come amid escalating tensions following a series of attacks carried out since June 13 by Israeli forces targeting Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. The United States has also been implicated, reportedly conducting airstrikes on three peaceful nuclear facilities inside Iran.
According to Iranian intelligence agencies, multiple sabotage networks linked to Israel’s Mossad have been dismantled across the country. These operations led to the seizure of Israeli-made Spike missiles, suicide drones, and high-powered explosives.
The networks were allegedly operating secret drone and bomb manufacturing sites in Tehran, Isfahan, Alborz, and Mazandaran provinces, with the aim of targeting key infrastructure and residential areas.
“The enemy has conspired on multiple fronts during the recent aggression to undermine Iran from within. But public awareness and loyalty have foiled their plans from the outset,” Mohseni-Ejei said. He added, “By deliberately targeting critical locations, they tried to incite chaos. However, people from all walks of life and ideological backgrounds stood united with the leadership and repelled the plots.”
He described the situation as “difficult but rewarding,” and declared, “Today we are facing the most hostile enemies of God and humanity. To humiliate these wicked enemies brings us special satisfaction.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has also instructed the judiciary to remain vigilant and act decisively. “The judicial process for these recent crimes — whether in domestic or international courts — is among the most urgent and vital responsibilities of the judiciary. We have failed in many previous instances. This time, we must leave no room for shortcomings,” he said.
According to Mohseni-Ejei, it is the combination of Khamenei’s leadership, the preparedness of the military and security forces, and the unity of the people that has thwarted all enemy plans. “The Zionist regime and the U.S.-led enemies of the Islamic Republic have failed,” he said. “On the contrary, this ordeal has further enhanced the strength of the state and the resilience of the Iranian nation.”
