The President left for Jakarta to attend the 43rd ASEAN Conference and the 18th East Asia Summit Mohammad Sahabuddin.
The press wing of Bangabhaban informed this information in a press release on Monday morning.
According to the press release, the President, his wife Professor Dr. Bangladesh Biman’s regular flight No. BG-584 carrying Rebecca Sultana and other travel companions took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:30 am.
At the airport, the President was seen off by Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque, Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Cabinet Secretary, Chief of the three Armed Forces, Foreign Secretary, President’s Office Secretary and senior military and civilian officials.
The President will attend the 43rd ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit and the 18th East Asia Summit to be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on September 5-7.
In addition, President Md. Sahabuddin will hold separate bilateral meetings with the President of Indonesia, Prime Minister of Vietnam, IORA Secretary General and several other state leaders.
After attending the conference, the President will leave Jakarta for a health examination on September 8. Sahabuddin.
