New York Comic Con has returned to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, running from Thursday through Sunday. The event commenced with large crowds eagerly lining up as doors opened on Thursday morning.

Fallon Prinzivalli of ReedPop, the event organizer, noted, "People wait all year. You can come here, geek out, be a nerd, and you're embraced." Paul Prezioso, owner of Paul's Comics, added, "It's kind of acceptance, having fun and kind of expressing yourself."

The four-day convention is sold out, with the Javits Center bustling with art displays, character appearances, booths, and shows. Notably, over 650 artists, writers, actors, and other personalities are participating, including celebrities like Elizabeth Olsen, John Boyega, and Josh Brolin.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of panels, autograph sessions, and exclusive merchandise throughout the weekend. The event has become a significant cultural gathering, celebrating comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television.

For those unable to attend, other comic conventions are scheduled across the country in the coming months, including events in Chattanooga, Rhode Island, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and Emerald City.
